Copperbelt Energy Corporation is expanding Zambia’s renewable energy capacity with the commissioning of the 60 MW Itimpi Phase 1 solar plant, alongside its 34 MW Riverside facility. Additional projects, including the 136 MW Itimpi II and 12.5 MW Fitula plants, aim to raise total solar capacity to 230 MW by 2026.
