The cost of the 176-turbine Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Project has risen by 9%, from $9.8bn to $10.7bn, due to higher network upgrade and interconnection costs. Despite this, the 2.6 GW Project remains 50% complete and on track for 2026 completion. Cost-sharing mechanisms protect customers, with Dominion Energy sharing 50% of cost increases above $10.
