Clearway Energy secures financial deal on construction of 1,280MWh Utah BESS portfolio.

IPP Clearway Energy has secured financial deal and green light given on the construction of 1,280MW Utah BESS project portfolio. Honeycomb is comprised of four BESS projects adjacent to an operating solar energy portfolio, which Clearway also owns. The BESS projects are 80MW each and will be 4-hour duration systems using Tesla Megapacks.
