CIP Begins Construction of Patache's 300MW / 1,500MWh BESS Project in Chile

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has begun construction of the 300 MW / 1,500 MWh BESS Patache project in Tarapacá Region. The system will store excess solar energy and shift it to peak demand periods, supporting grid stability and decarbonisation. Backed by co-investors, the project qualifies for a carbon offset program.
