Researchers at Nanjing University developed a PNCC polymer hole-transport layer enabling stable perovskite solar cells to be fabricated under ambient conditions. The material improves wettability, film uniformity, charge transport and defect passivation. Single-junction devices achieved 26.6% efficiency, while perovskite-silicon tandem cells reached 33.
