China’s Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment (Guofuhee) plans to invest $30 million to establish a 1 GW electrolyser manufacturing facility in Morocco, marking a significant expansion in North Africa’s emerging green hydrogen sector. The company also unveiled what it calls North Africa’s first clean hydrogen energy demonstration system, integrating solar-powered hydrogen production, storage, and grid-connected generation.
