China's "Ningdong" is the world's most powerful hydrogen locomotive, capable of replacing fossil fuel engines. Developed by China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), it has a hydrogen storage system that refuels in two hours. With a continuous running time of up to 190 hours. it offers cost-effectiveness, according to Liang Zhenzhong, deputy general manager and chief engineer of CRRC Datong.
