Chinese manufacturer CRRC has installed the world's largest floating offshore wind turbine, the 20 MW Qihang, at the Dongying wind power testing base in Shandong. With a 260-meter diameter, each rotation of Qihang can power a household for two to four days, saving 25,000 tons of coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by 62,000 tons annually.
