Chile launched its largest standalone Battery Energy Storage system of capacity 200MW/800MWh with 4 hours duration in Latin America. The Project features PowerTitan liquid cooling & controls system from Chinese manufacturers Sungrow. The project, in the Antofagasta region, is backed by a 15-year power purchase agreement signed by the EMOAC energy trading subsidiary of Chilean oil company COPEC.
