Chandigarh is set to generate a record 88 MW of Solar Power by December, following the installation of panels on 5,545 government houses. Currently, it produces 68.358 MW, ranking second in India after Delhi. Additionally, 110 government schools are generating surplus energy, while installation on more houses and non-residential buildings is ongoing, with completion targeted by year-end.
