Cero Generation has reached financial close on the 198 MW Bumble Bee solar-plus-storage project at West Burton, UK. The project combines 78 MW of PV with a 120 MW BESS and will connect to the West Burton substation near Doncaster. A 10-year tolling agreement with ENGIE secures revenues for part of the battery capacity, while EDF will optimize the remaining storage and manage PV route-to-market.
