The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission rejected SJVN’s request to allocate 316 MW of unallocated renewable capacity to existing bidders. Though SJVN argued fresh bidding would be inefficient and public interest favored allocation at discovered tariffs, CERC held it lacked authority beyond prescribed guidelines.
