The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) granted Acme Solar an extension for its 300 MW Rajasthan Project until April 21, 2025, following delays caused by regulatory issues and environmental concerns. Acme must pay Rs 4.75 crore as compensation for the delay. Further, phased commissioning must occur before March 2025, with daily penalties if the project exceeds the new deadline.
