CERC has granted 100% ISTS charges waiver to Tata Power Renewable Energy's 198 MW wind project in Karur, Tamil Nadu and extended its SCOD to February 4, 2026. Developed via subsidiary TP Vardhaman Surya for captive supply to Tata Steel, the project had original SCOD June 1, 2025 but was delayed due to Common Transmission System non-availability for GNA and RoW constraints.
