The Centre has awarded 30 KTPA of green hydrogen production capacity to four refineries under the National Green Hydrogen Mission’s SIGHT Mode-2B scheme. Indian Oil’s Panipat refinery and Numaligarh Refinery have received 10 KTPA each, while Bharat Petroleum’s Bina and Hindustan Petroleum’s Vizag refineries have been allocated 5 KTPA each.
