Ceigall India Limited has won a 100 MW standalone battery energy storage system project in Punjab at a tariff of ₹3.44Lakhs/MW/month. The project, part of a 500 MW/1,000 MWh tender by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, is valued at approximately ₹250 crore. Ceigall will develop, operate, and maintain the system under a 12-year Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement, with commissioning expected within 18 months.
