Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved ₹23,437 crore railway multi-tracking projects by Indian Railways, covering 901 km across 19 districts in six states. To be completed by 2030–31, the projects will benefit 4,161 villages and 83 lakh people, while adding 60 million tonnes annual freight capacity.
