The California Energy Commission (CEC) launched the Fast Charge California Project to fund up to 100% of public fast EV charger installations, prioritizing tribal, disadvantaged, and low-income communities. Eligible sites include gas stations, retail centers, and parking lots. The program supports DC fast chargers with funding caps based on charger power, totaling $55 million.
