BYD is negotiating with Reliance Group and Adani to establish a manufacturing facility in India, aiming for regulatory support through their government connections. Reliance is exploring an EV factory with an initial capacity of 250,000 units, expandable to 750,000. BYD plans to launch a facelifted e6 and a sub-compact SUV by 2025, targeting the growing Indian electric vehicle market.
