Australia's Minister for Climate Change and Energy, Chris Bowen, has provisionally approved a feasibility licence for the 1.2GW Spinifex Offshore Wind Project near Victoria. The project, developed by Alinta Energy and Parkwind, will proceed to detailed consultations and environmental studies to assess its viability, aiming to create jobs and support renewable energy growth in the region.
