Bihar will purchase 300 MW of wind power from Torrent Green Energy at ₹4.04 per kWh, following CERC’s ₹3.97 per kWh tariff approval. The power will be procured via SECI, which adds a 7-paise markup for Bihar’s distribution companies. Torrent won the 300 MW block through a SECI reverse auction in March 2025.
