Bernalillo County, New Mexico, approved $190 million in industrial revenue bonds to fund Aypa Power's Sun Lasso Energy Center, a battery energy storage project with 150MW/600MWh capacity. Construction is set for 2025, with operations starting in late 2027. The project supports PNM’s goal for zero-carbon energy by 2040 and enhances local renewable initiatives.
