Basic Energy Corp. (BEC) is investing around P300 million to advance its Renewable Energy Projects, including Solar and Wind, over the next two to three years. Its flagship Mabini Wind Energy Project in Batangas, developed with Japan’s Renova, aims to generate 50 MW by 2028. Other projects include the Panay Wind Energy Project and solar farms in Bataan, Negros Occidental, and Pangasinan, with commissioning expected by early 2027.
