Azerbaijan Govt Commits to 600 MW Offshore Wind Project

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and Clean Energy Capital have signed an Implementation Agreement to assess, develop, and implement an offshore wind project in the Caspian Sea. The project will start with 200 MW and scale to 600 MW, with Clean Energy Capital conducting site research. This agreement follows multiple offshore wind collaborations with Chinese companies and aligns with Azerbaijan’s broader ambitions.
