Australia’s Ark Energy has received federal environmental approval for its 435 MW Richmond Valley solar project with co-located 475-MW/3,148-MWh battery storage in New South Wales. Cleared under the EPBC Act and earlier by the NSW government, the AUD 1.2 billion (USD 790m) project will generate enough clean electricity for approximately 175,000 homes annually.
