Green fertiliser developer Atome has secured $420 million in debt financing for its flagship green hydrogen-based fertiliser project in Villeta, Paraguay. The $630 million project will produce calcium ammonium nitrate using green hydrogen generated from 145 MW hydropowered electrolysis. Yara International has signed a 10-year offtake agreement for the entire output.
