Chinese solar manufacturer Astronergy has secured contracts to supply 1GW of n-type solar modules for a 2GW solar PV portfolio in Algeria. Tendered by CWE and POWERCHINA, the projects include six plants ranging from 80MW to 220MW. Algeria’s government aims to add 4GW of solar capacity by 2025, focusing solely on solar energy.
