ANDRITZ Wins Torrent Power's3GW Pumped Storage Project Order

ANDRITZ has secured a major order from Torrent Power to supply electromechanical equipment for the 3,000 MW Saidongar-1 pumped storage project in Maharashtra. The scope includes design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of 10 reversible pump turbine units and motor-generators. Once operational, the project will generate 6,241 GWh annually, significantly reducing emissions and supporting India’s round-the-clock renewable energy goals.
