AMEA Power will develop a major 1GW Solar PV Project in Egypt, featuring a 600MWh Battery Storage System. They will also expand the 500MW Abydos plant with a 300MWh storage addition. The $800 million investment follows a similar announcement by Scatec. Both projects, supported by PPAs with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, mark significant advancements in Egypt’s RE Sector.
