Akaysha Energy is set to begin commissioning its 300 MWh Ulinda BESS in Queensland’s Western Downs. The 150MW, 2-hour battery has entered AEMO's MMS and will provide Frequency Control and Ancillary Services to the NEM. Integrated by Powin, which faces financial trouble, Ulinda also involves Fluence and Quintas Energy for support.
