ADS-TEC Energy GmbH is set to build a 1-GW/2-GWh battery energy storage system in southern Germany, projected to supply power to 250,000 homes. The project, approved by the local city council and transmission operator, is expected to be completed by 2029, pending regulatory approval. It will also feature large-scale solar panel installations.
