Aditya Birla Renewables, a subsidiary of Grasim Industries, will acquire Shell’s renewable energy platform Sprng Energy for an enterprise value of ₹17,200 crore (~$1.8 billion). The deal, among India’s largest renewable energy acquisitions, will significantly expand Aditya Birla’s clean energy portfolio by adding around 5 GW of renewable capacity.
