Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has acquired 100% equity stake in Vizag Power Transmission Ltd (VPTL) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd. The acquisition supports AESL’s expansion strategy and follows its recent ₹8,500 crore transmission project win in Andhra Pradesh. VPTL will develop transmission infrastructure to support upcoming green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in the Vizag region.
