ACWA Power and Bapco Energies signed a Joint Development Agreement to build a large-scale solar power plant with battery storage in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Planned in multiple phases, the project will generate up to 2.8 GW, exporting electricity to Bahrain and supporting national power demand.
