The scheme which aimed to generate clean energy from solar pumps are providing benefit to 29000 farmers in Rajasthan. The solar pumps of capacities of 3,5,7.5 & 10 HP has been installed but the subsidy is payable till 7.5 HP. The state government has installed 1,31,000 solar pumps and is providing 60% subsidy for installing solar pumps in their farm.
