The New York Power Authority has approved clean energy of 3GW with 200MW battery Energy Storage. This also include 10 energy storage projects from 4MW to 140MW. NYPA will co-develop the projects with developers including YSG Solar and Oriden. In the interim, the state is also targeting 6GW of energy storage deployments at all scales by 2030, which the selected BESS projects will also contribute toward.
