Tamil Nadu to Introduce Battery Energy Storage Systems Insight

Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation will introduce Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to enhance Renewable Energy infrastructure. The Central Govt’s Viability Gap Funding Scheme will support 30% of the capital cost. BESS installations at substations will improve Energy Storage and Distribution. This initiative aims to ensure grid stability and manage peak loads in Renewable Energy-rich states.
