IREDA Reports 303% Increase in Loans Sanctioned to ₹17,860 Cr in H1 of FY
In its business update, IREDA reported a 303% increase in loans sanctioned for the first half of the financial year, reaching ₹17,860 crore, up from ₹4,437 crore. Disbursements rose by 56% to ₹9,787 crore. The loan book outstanding grew by 36% to ₹64,500 crore. IREDA plans to raise up to ₹4,500 crore through an equity issue, potentially diluting the government’s 75% stake.
