CEA: New Hydro Tech Provides Renewable Energy at ₹2-3/Unit

The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) has recognized Surface Hydrokinetic Turbine (SHKT) technology as a cost-effective Renewable Energy solution, generating electricity at ₹2-3 per unit. SHKT utilizes flowing water's kinetic energy without requiring dams, supporting India's net-zero targets and enhancing Renewable Energy capacity using existing water infrastructure.
